お客さまに支えられて70年 これからもお客さまとともに発展してまいります。

I am Mitsuo Okamoto, CEO of AMADA HOLDINGS. I offer my extreme gratitude and thanks for your continued and habitual support. The AMADA Group celebrated its 70th anniversary in September 2016.

For this as well, please allow me to express my earnest, humble, and heartfelt gratitude to the many customers who have shown our products their favor over these many years and for the boon that has been the support and cooperation of all our clients.

Since our founding in 1946, AMADA has never flagged in our management philosophy of “growing alongside our customers.” Under this philosophy, we have seen it as our mission to contribute to society through the monozukuri product creation process, and it is under this philosophy that we have pursued our business operations.

Over the years, we have produced countless innovative technologies in the field of metalworking, in particular in the domain of sheet metal working, AMADA’s primary field of business. We have come to use turret punch presses to drastically improve productivity, introduced laser cutting machines, and applied computers to our work. And in each of these areas, AMADA has been able to contribute to the success of our customers as a top runner in the field.

In recent years, the environment which enfolds AMADA has rapidly globalized and diversified. Moreover, looking out over the next 30 years has reconfirmed for us the necessity of further improving our enterprise.

We must also engage in reforms so that society will be able to trust us as a good corporate citizen, in addition to continuing to listen to the challenges our customers are facing and providing new and innovative solutions.

We will continue to move forward into the future with the goal of never forgetting our founding spirit and being a company which is able work as one to contribute to the benefit of our customers.

As always and with deepest sincerity, I ask for your continued kind graces in this endeavor.
